State and Local Revenue from Oil and Gas

The oil & gas industry provides significant revenues to the State of New Mexico and local municipalities.  For fiscal year 2010, oil & gas revenue payments in the form of taxes, royalties and other revenues totaled nearly $2.2 billion, that’s over $6 million every day!
