Devon Energy | June 21st, 2022CARLSBAD, N.M. (June 21, 2022) — Devon Energy has contributed $50,000 to the All Together NM Fund to help fill the gaps until federal funds are available. The funds will support emergency shelters; food and water distribution; and other critical services following recent wildfires.

“One of the most important things our company can do is take care of our neighbors when they are in need,” said Devon Director of Community Relations Christina Rehkop. “We are proud to help people who have suffered from the devastating wildfires, as well as the brave, dedicated workers fighting the blazes.”

One hundred percent of Devon’s donation will be directed to areas affected by wildfires through the All Together NM Fund, managed by the Santa Fe Community Foundation.

“The wildfires have caused immeasurable hardship for communities across New Mexico,” said Christopher Goett, CEO of the Santa Fe Community Foundation. “We’re incredibly grateful for the support of partners like Devon that have enabled us to provide emergency relief and work toward long-term recovery through the All Together NM Fund.”

The All Together NM Fund was originally established in 2020 by the New Mexico Coalition of Community Foundations in conjunction with the governor’s office to help New Mexico respond to and eventually recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. The fund has been reactivated to support wildfire relief and recovery.
