Good Neighbor Program Community Liaison
Responsibilities include educating and interacting with key stakeholders and members of the public about operations in the oil and gas industry and the positive impacts the industry brings New Mexico. The efforts will be focused extensively in parts of the state without oil and gas production as well as in producing areas. The full time position will be headquartered in Santa Fe with extensive fieldwork being conducted in Albuquerque, Las Cruces and other outlying areas. It is estimated that approximately 50% of work will be performed in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe area, with the remaining 50% performed across the rest of New Mexico.
Requirements include being legally authorized to work in the United States, intermediate skill with presentation software, proven ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with diverse people and groups, proven ability to effectively speak and present to groups, and desire and ability to learn technical aspects of the industry including basic operating practices, economic impact, and fiscal impact. Preferred candidates will have bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, education, business, engineering or other field, 3+ years of relevant experience, and excellent presentation skills.
