Oxy Donates to American Red Cross New Mexico Wildfire Relief

Oxy | June 15th, 2022Oxy today announced a contribution of $100,000 to the American Red Cross in support of emergency wildfire relief efforts in New Mexico. In 2022, multiple large wildfires burned approximately 800,000 acres in New Mexico, leading to the evacuation of over 50,000 residents.

In New Mexico, Oxy is a founding partner in the Pecos Watershed Conservation Initiative, a proactive, landscape-based approach to managing Permian Basin species and habitats.
